MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
- Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for two to three years.
Responsibilities:
- Installs and maintains a variety of end-user hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues.
- Maintains specialty software.
- Maintains city websites.
- Programs and maintains phone systems.
- Writes technical documentation for software, hardware, and websites.
- Guides and trains end-users in hardware and software operation.
- Manages and maintains the deployment application.
- Performs related duties.
- Knowledge of hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair principles.
- Knowledge of software security principles.
- Knowledge of website management principles.
- Knowledge of operating systems, Microsoft systems, and Google apps.
- Skill in troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software problems.
- Skill in training end-users and support personnel.
