MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
• Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for two to three years.

• Installs and maintains a variety of end-user hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues.
• Maintains specialty software.
• Maintains city websites.
• Programs and maintains phone systems.
• Writes technical documentation for software, hardware, and websites.
• Guides and trains end-users in hardware and software operation.
• Manages and maintains the deployment application.
• Performs related duties.
• Knowledge of hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair principles.
• Knowledge of software security principles.
• Knowledge of website management principles.
• Knowledge of operating systems, Microsoft systems, and Google apps.
• Skill in troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software problems.
• Skill in training end-users and support personnel.
• Skill in problem solving.
• Skill in prioritizing and planning.
