MOBIA Technology Innovations is working with our partner, MOBIA Health, to recruit a Systems Analyst to join the team remotely in Atlantic Canada. Mobia Health is a SaaS product company focused on developing innovative solutions that transform patient journeys. MOBIA Health’s Central Intake product improves acute care wait times by helping clinicians determine what patient needs to be seen next, based on acuity and appropriate care.
MOBIA Health is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to join their development team. The ideal candidate will analyze, design, test and implement functionality for the Acute Care Waitlist Optimization product. The Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, architects and developers.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or a similar role.
  • Experience with software development, systems integration, business analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Healthcare would be a plus.
  • Proficiency with databases, software development life cycle (SDLC), and enterprise systems. Experience with MongoDB would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of systems integration and designing API interfaces.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Systems Analysis and Design
  • Conduct system requirements analysis to understand business needs.
  • Design and implement system modifications and integrations.
  • Evaluate current systems and propose enhancements or upgrades.
  • Analyze data, design database models and data transformation processes.
  • Collaborate with developers and IT teams to design solutions that meet technical and business requirements.
  • Business Process Improvement
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their processes and how technology can improve them.
  • Develop system documentation, including flowcharts, diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Assist with process re-engineering, automation and workflow optimizations.
  • Support and Maintenance
  • Provide second-tier support for system issues, troubleshooting, and resolving system-related problems.
  • Monitor system performance, perform audits, and generate reports to ensure systems are functioning optimally.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams for system upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Develop test plans and test cases to ensure system functionality and integrity.
  • Perform system, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborate with stakeholders to validate the effectiveness of the solution.
  • Ensure all system changes meet quality standards and business expectations.
  • Project Management
  • Participate in IT projects, assisting with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Track project progress and update stakeholders on status, risks, and milestones.
  • Ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets while delivering the intended results.
