THE OPPORTUNITY

As NCBA Systems Analyst, you are the primary contact for all NCBA system-related queries and development. You are responsible for working collaboratively across all of NCBA’s Stakeholders, including Green Energy Group (GEG) IT and Biz teams, NCBA Employees, NCBA Clients and prospective leads, to inform systems processes, decisions and priorities and determine user requirements for feature development. You will work closely with the NCBA General Manager - Commercial and Onboarding Specialist to collect stakeholder feedback and utilise data analytics to deliver recommendations and reports to the NCBA Executive Team. As the systems representative for NCBA you will be the key person responsible for establishing and maintaining NCBA internal and client facing systems and guiding NCBA systems improvement.

we are looking for a System Analyst who has:

  • Detailed knowledge of systems routinely used by stakeholders inc. SharePoint, Slack, Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Microsoft suite, google suite.
  • Experience in setting up new certificate activities processing pathways for the NSW ESS.
  • Solid understanding of the environmental certificate industry including regulatory requirements, evidence collection, compliance processing, certificate creation, trading and auditing.
  • Detailed knowledge of TESSA portal, PRC and ESC certificates.
  • Experience in gathering feedback from stakeholders to calculate return on investment (ROI) and risk assessments for Development work, creating and advocating for user stories in prioritisation discussions.
  • Managing external platforms (Dataforce, Alitsy, Bridge Select etc), addressing any updates required and requests from customers.
  • Support the development and improvement of inhouse web and mobile applications
  • Gather feedback from NCBA stakeholders to calculate return on investment (ROI) and risk assessments for NCBA’s Development work and prioritisation discussions.
  • Perform quality assurance testing. As you are intimately aware of the product requirements and are part of every stage of development, your testing feedback is extremely important to avoid bugs and ensure requirements are fulfilled.
  • Develop, analyse, prioritize, and organize functional/requirement specifications by using data and process modelling techniques such as data mapping, UML diagrams, and flowcharts for developers & testers to design/develop system software. Moreover, to ensure that system design balances functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct detailed workflow analysis and provide efficiency recommendations based on risk and ROI assessments
  • Proficient in designing and implementing workflow automations using tools like MS Power Automate, Slack, Jira, Zapier and other platforms, with the ability to integrate AI and ML technologies.
  • Solid understanding of BESS battery, lighting, space heating, PV and water heating activities
  • Proven use of Agile methodologies, principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with software engineering principles and DevOps practices, along with a basic understanding of common programming languages such as Java and Python
  • Ability to create user documentation, facilitate and conduct formal training sessions for internal stakeholders and external clients
  • A solid track record of managing and delivering on projects on time in alignment with user requirements
  • Proven ability working collaboratively with Development teams to deliver on projects
  • Sound knowledge to support internal stakeholders with Systems enquiries and proven ability to manage and prioritise Help desk tickets
