Requirements:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Hardware, or Information Technology
- Ten or more (10+) years’ experience with systems analysis and design
- Three or more (3+) years’ experience with Sybase, C, C++, X-Win, Linux, Windows and VMWare
- One or more years’ (1+) experience with Virtual Path Cross-Connect (VPX), Versa Module Eurocard (VME) or Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA)
- One or more years’ (1+) experience with Local Area Network (LAN) configuration
- One or more years’ (1+) experience with Machine Learning (ML)
- Experience with Software Containerization applications such as Docker or Oracle Cloud
- Experience configuring System/Network security controls
Description:
- Ensures the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration
- Works with NIWC stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities
- Provisions RHEL and CentOS servers in both physical and virtual environments
- Integrates a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open source applications within existing RHEL and CentOS environments
- Troubleshoots quickly and efficiently in Linux, Windows based environments
- Researches and recommends innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks
