SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Solutions, the candidate would work with business stakeholders to configure and maintain system solutions that enable business functions. In addition, this role is also responsible for operational process to support the systems, process automation, data maintenance, and reporting solutions. The primary focus would be to support the Weston Family Foundation while working with other departments within the Wittington Investments.
The ideal candidate for this role is technical savvy, problem solver, and able to manage conflicting priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant College or University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- Previous experience in SmartSimple or grants management program is an asset.
- Previous experience or knowledge in configuration finance systems including SAP, Concur, D365 is nice to have.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development or system configuration or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in Software Development Life Cycle. Basic programming skills is a must have.
- Knowledge of Project Management is nice to have.
- Experience in BI, PowerApp, PowerPlatform, PowerBI and report development is nice to have.
- Technical problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently with some direction and in a team environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- The ability to self-manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities:
- Support Business stakeholders (ie. Weston Family Foundation) in operating the SmartSimple grant management software including continuous configuration, data integrity, testing and report build.
- Gather business requirements, analyze options and technology solutions, and present the proposed solutions to the business stakeholders.
- Configure, administer, and maintain systems and applications (for example: SmartSimple, Concur, D365 F&O, etc.).
- Provide on-going technology support to the Weston Family Foundation, with some minor capacity to support other business units within Wittington Investments.
- Work with the IT team on testing activities, troubleshooting and issues resolution, ensuring technology standards and best practices are followed.
- Work with IT Operations team to troubleshoot application-related issues.
- Work with external technology vendors and service providers as needed in maintaining service delivery.
- Integrate technology solution as per business needs.
- Support data integrity and migration needs as well as to build required reporting solution.
- Collaborate with the IT Operations team to support annual data and access controls review.
- Validate and review the cybersecurity controls within the supported application systems.
- Maintain the applications and their standard operational procedures.
- Design and create new reports, dashboard and customize portal functionalities for the supported departments.
- Develop custom report solution as per business requirements.
- Work on continuous system performance improvements.
- Research and advise on new tools and technologies, including AI technologies.
- Work with the Information Security team to manage/mitigate any application potential risk.
- Provides user support as needed, with problem resolution and escalation where necessary.
- Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing.
