DESCRIPTION

Are you a Systems and Website Administrator who thrives in a varied, fast paced environment? We are seeking a Systems and Website Administrator to assist our South Etobicoke location (walking distance from Kipling/Islington subway stops).
This is a hybrid position, with working hours from Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
The role is suitable for Canada-based applicants only who are located within a short commute to our offices in South Etobicoke. The incumbent will be required to come to the office on a hybrid schedule, including when there is assistance urgently needed onsite.

EXPERIENCE (5 YEARS MINIMUM)

  • Mac/Apple platform (5 years in professional maintenance & troubleshooting)
  • Email servers
  • Network security
  • Microsoft 365 and web services

SKILL SET REQUIRED

  • Advanced understanding of Mac OS and iOS environments.
  • Advanced understanding of networks and security of networks.
  • Proficient in English both written and spoken.
  • Soft skills for delivering quality technical support and training to a team.
  • Codification of procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of html, scripting, etc..

Responsibilities:

This role encompasses a blend of duties in Systems and Website Administration and Technical Support.

  • Website maintenance and assistance including product uploads and specifications (updates, imports, activations/deactivations).
  • Administer security best practices and maintenance.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Managing the repair or replacement of damaged hardware.
  • Upgrading systems to enable software compatibility.
  • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software and security systems to ensure network and hardware security.
  • Data backup and recovery.
  • Providing technical training and support needed to employees and departments.
