Description:
DESCRIPTION
Are you a Systems and Website Administrator who thrives in a varied, fast paced environment? We are seeking a Systems and Website Administrator to assist our South Etobicoke location (walking distance from Kipling/Islington subway stops).
This is a hybrid position, with working hours from Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
The role is suitable for Canada-based applicants only who are located within a short commute to our offices in South Etobicoke. The incumbent will be required to come to the office on a hybrid schedule, including when there is assistance urgently needed onsite.
EXPERIENCE (5 YEARS MINIMUM)
- Mac/Apple platform (5 years in professional maintenance & troubleshooting)
- Email servers
- Network security
- Microsoft 365 and web services
SKILL SET REQUIRED
- Advanced understanding of Mac OS and iOS environments.
- Advanced understanding of networks and security of networks.
- Proficient in English both written and spoken.
- Soft skills for delivering quality technical support and training to a team.
- Codification of procedures.
- Basic knowledge of html, scripting, etc..

Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a blend of duties in Systems and Website Administration and Technical Support.
- Website maintenance and assistance including product uploads and specifications (updates, imports, activations/deactivations).
- Administer security best practices and maintenance.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Managing the repair or replacement of damaged hardware.
- Upgrading systems to enable software compatibility.
- Installing and upgrading anti-virus software and security systems to ensure network and hardware security.
- Data backup and recovery.
- Providing technical training and support needed to employees and departments.
