Description:

Are you enthusiastic about project management and continuous improvement? Are you ready to take charge of high-level system and process creation and optimization, lead change and improvement projects and key initiatives within Systems and Applications used in R&D?
We are seeking an experienced Improvement Project Manager specializing within Systems and Applications to join our R&D Systems & Process Excellence team.
The team you will be part of
The Systems & Process Excellence team is a part of GN R&D and is committed to advance and facilitate R&D’s high level processes and systems improvement activities. These activities cover continuous development of our agile R&D development process, steering GN’s enterprise product cyber security initiatives, hosting GN’s ISO 9001 certification as well as participating in selection, configuration and implementation of PLM systems and Repairability efforts. To prepare for the future we will need to invest further into streamlining our systems and data ensuring innovative and efficient ways of developing new experiences and products and to support Eco System Partnerships, Automation and AI initiatives.

Your contribution is appreciated, as you will oversee and facilitate high-priority improvement projects and transformations.
You will have an important role in identifying and implementing future R&D improvement and process needs all while promoting continuous improvement, simplification, engagement and collaboration.

This includes:

  • Taking ownership of improvement projects or processes of different maturity
  • Working to understand business workflow and business drivers to consolidate a variety of R&D applications into fewer systems that covers across all R&D development centers
  • Setting up and role out processes for acquisition, implementation, ownership, maintenance and support of R&D applications – in collaboration with IT
  • Mapping and creating a strategy to optimize R&D applications, data stored in these, ownership, accessibility and belonging processes and KPI’s
  • Educating colleagues on systems an data best practices, and enforce legal and company standards
  • Collaborating with vendors, users, and IT support techs and Analysts for multiple applications to ensure an innovative and efficient R&D systems environment
  • Building and maintaining close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and efficient processes and solutions.
  • Developing and implementing project management methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure engagement and efficiency. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously improving our processes to optimize engagement and project execution.

This role will require some travel, approximately 5-10 days per year. More travel days are optional but not a requirement.

  • Are analytic and find importance in following rules and regulations.
  • Have experience with handling stakeholders within R&D, IT, Product Management and Operations.
  • Are a successful facilitator with an understanding and simplifying processes.
  • Have advanced communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, regions, cultures and stakeholders to create results.
  • Are equipped with problem-solving competencies in swiftly changing agile environments.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
