ABOUT UNIT PROGRAM - EHEALTH QUEENSLAND:

eHealth Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state. It is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of information systems and technologies so that Queensland Health employees and health providers have access to information that supports the delivery of health care.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

The Systems Architect will be responsible for preparing the software requirements specifications, systems design, support and procedural documentation to ensure critical intellectual property is captured and can be maintained.

IN ADDITION TO THIS, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Identifying and documenting interface specifications that will allow integration partners to understand and leverage interfaces to key systems and applications.
  • Working with key stakeholders to identify, analyse and document technical processes and requirements.
  • Providing a support role for other business analysts, technical analysts, technical consultants and change managers within the program/projects.
  • Working within a matrix-style program ensuing adaptive thinking, flexibility, providing advice on alternate ways of achieving an agreed product and talking on activities not always directly aligned with core skills.
  • Managing assigned product delivery to an agreed schedule that typically involves a consultation with a large amount of key subject matter experts, team members, external governance groups and offsite stakeholders.

Are you right for this role?

  • Proven experience performing technical analysis activities within IM/ICT program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry (SFIA Skill: DLMG: Level 4).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the identity and Access Management domain (SFIA Skill: TECH: Level 4).
  • Proven experience in identifying and documenting application interfaces and systems interconnectivity that would allow integration partners to understand and leverage the use of existing interfaces (SFIA Skill: DTAN: Level 4).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with multiple key internal projects, Operations and external technology vendor stakeholders by the use of high-level written and interpersonal consultation, negotiation and communications skills including the ability to influence others (SFIA: RLMT 5).
  • Ability to work individually and within a high-performance team with time-critical and financially constrained tasks and complex deliverables by providing guidance and supervision of other team members and project resources (SFIA: PRMG 5) (NHS Self-Management) (NHS Collaborative Working).
