Description:
This is the role and main tasks
This is an opportunity to work in a growing enterprise environment with fast-moving projects key to business growth. Based within the Technical Support Services Team, the Systems Architect will focus on supporting the Stibo System Master Data Management platform as SaaS offering.
You will have a broad interface and engagement internally within Stibo Systems as well as externally in relation to prospects, customers, and partners.
More specifically, you will:
- Design, architect, and implement monitoring and observability solutions for complex software applications and infrastructure
- Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and troubleshooting to identify and address performance bottlenecks and reliability issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define monitoring strategies
- Develop monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and alerting systems to ensure critical systems’ reliability, performance, and availability
- Implement best practices for log management, metrics collection, and distributed tracing to gain deep insights into system behavior and performance
- Responsible for maintaining and publishing relevant infrastructure architecture artifacts
- Provide strategic IT and technology input on new business initiatives and support strategic corporate planning
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in observability, monitoring, and devOps practices
- Mentor and develop core architecture team’s understanding of infrastructure architecture best practices, processes, and techniques
Who we are looking for:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Systems Architecture or Cloud Architecture, with at least 3 years in containerization technologies e.g., Docker, Kubernetes (specifically with AWS and Azure)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in monitoring tools and technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Datadog, etc
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps
- Experience with automation and deployment of cloud infrastructure leveraging Terraform and Ansible tools
- Experience leading Technology or Application Architecture projects and deliverables
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert Microsoft Certification
- Knowledge of Azure Security components such as Azure Security Center, Security Operations, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Azure Solution Architect
- Knowledge of micro-service topologies, API strategies and full systems lifecycles
