Description:

SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

We are looking for a new person to join our growing Business Improvement team. Our focus is on collaborating with those in the business to boost efficiency, drive quality and deliver to our customers needs.
This hybrid role (approximately 60% of your time will be spent in the office) requires an organised and enthusiastic individual with an eye for process. The role will offer opportunities to work with teams and projects to assess conformance with internal process but also a creative opportunity to help inform and shape efficient interventions for the business.
Our Systems Coordinator will take ownership of some of our internal platforms within Microsoft 365 giving you the chance to shape the way we do things as business. The growth options in the team are endless as you can experience a construction company from different angles, identifying areas of improvement but also getting to be part of the solutions.

ABOUT US

We are proud to be part of the Willmott Dixon family; a privately-owned contracting and interior fit out group in the UK. With a rich history, amazing track record and strong values, this partnership makes us a stronger and more progressive organisation, allowing us to share knowledge and take on bigger and better projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Process management: There are lots of moving parts to our business and our team, and it’s a fast paced environment. We need someone who can step back and look at things from a bigger picture but also break down the detail to help us map out key behaviours and routines. If your default setting is organised – this role is for you.
  • Problem Solving: Your role will be to support teams and think creativity to find a solution that fits the parameters of ISO 9001 ( a globally recognised standard for quality management) and suits the needs of our people.
  • Opinions: We are looking for a fresh perspective and a challenger, when we come to workshopping improvements or mapping processes, the more questions we ask the better the result. You’re attention to detail and voice will be crucial in the role.
  • Desire to learn: This role doesn’t require a technical background in construction or previous experience working with ISO 9001 (our Quality Management standard) but there will be learning on the role. There is always new technology entering the corporate world so it’s important for us to keep up to speed.
  • People skills: There is a lot of collaboration and pulling together of teams in this role, part of our teams function is to keep teams engaged and informed, as well as keeping communication open to feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
