POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an Analyst – Systems & Data Integrity. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and efficiency of our organizational systems and platforms. Additionally, you will curate, analyze, and provide data insights that support the mission and strategic initiatives of the organization.
This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can identify and resolve system issues, maintain data integrity, and generate actionable insights. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and capable of collaborating across teams to optimize systems and support decision-making.
Job Type: Salary/Exempt
Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000/year
Expected hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Madison, WI

Education or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, information systems, or related field.
  • Other combinations of education, with relevant experience that demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position, will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in systems analysis, data analytics, or a related role.
  • Certification in Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency with data management tools and reporting software. Experience working with cloud-based platforms, Salesforce, and Looker preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML and SQL is preferred.
  • An understanding of database management systems and software development technologies along with a familiarity with systems analysis and design techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate technical findings into actionable business insights.
  • High capacity to track and leverage data platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding project management skills and operates with an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a bias towards execution and action.
  • A proactive team player willing to pitch in at all levels while also holding a big-picture, systems-thinking mindset.
  • Skilled relationship builder with a demonstrated ability to motivate and collaborate effectively across difference and across every level of the organization.

  • Spanish/Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Be or become a registered member of the Girls Scouts of the United States of America; have a working knowledge of Girl Scout philosophy and programming and be committed to the Girl Scout mission. Prior Girl Scout experience is not required

  • Must be able to occasionally work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Anticipated time away from the office is less than 5%.
  • Possess a valid driver’s License and proof of insurance.
  • Must be able to work both in an office setting and independently off-site

  • The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to withstand:
  • Must be able to work in an outside environment, where you have the ability to walk/hike daily, at various grades, elevations, and on uneven terrain.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Operate office equipment manually.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds at times

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

System & Platform Integrity:

  • Monitor and maintain the accuracy, reliability, and performance of organizational systems and platforms.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in collaboration with IT and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure data flows correctly between systems and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to minimize system errors and inconsistencies.

Data Curation & Analysis:

  • Collect, validate, and manage data from multiple sources to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Provide insights and reports that support strategic initiatives, performance monitoring, and operational improvements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualization tools to enhance data accessibility.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.

Collaboration & Strategic Support:

  • Work cross-functionally to understand data needs and provide tailored reports and insights.
  • Support leadership in decision-making by delivering relevant and timely data analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems, ensuring smooth transitions and data migration.
  • Document system processes, best practices, and data governance policies.
  • Provide training and instruction to team members, and the ability to create user-friendly resources and operational procedures.
  • Work within the established budget, and maintain expenses and receipts as needed.
  • Belief in the mission and values of Girl Scouting; be willing to subscribe to the principles expressed in the Promise and Law and Wisconsin Badgerland Girl Scouts mission, vision, and values.
