We develop and maintain the Scanning Electron Microscope systems. Our solution is important for our customer from semiconductor industry to identify errors in the production of semiconductor components and advance their research and production, to make them more robust, reliable, energy efficient.
We are seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Brno. You will have the chance to be part of the cross-site international development team of our top-quality products and make valuable contributions to innovative advancements. REQUIREMENTS:
- University Degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience required, certification for electric devices, Co. 50/78 (Vyhláška 50) §6
- Highly motivated and eager to continuously learn and broaden your knowledge base
- Advanced technical knowledge and strong conceptual thinking skills
- Enjoys taking ownership and leading new initiatives
- Strong focus on quality and robustness
- Knowledge of Python and statistical data processing is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Willingness to travel and fluency in English
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a number of New Product Development projects. Chip in to the integration of sophisticated new hardware and software on existing prototype systems.
- Define and implement test plans for new hardware/software. Document results in emails, reports, and presentations in English.
- Solve integration issues, provide designers with feedback and suggest improvements to existing prototypes.
- Maintain a fleet of R&D prototype setups in the best possible working condition to facilitate development work, software releases, customer demos etc.
- Work closely with application specialists, have the knowledge of the customer use case and propose modification of the existing system according to the use case requirements.
- Communicate frequently with project leaders on progress, and technical issues and suggest alternative solutions. Also frequently communicates with project members from other departments to provide them with necessary input.
