Description:
PRIMARY OR MANDATORY SKILLS :-
· Providing specialist skills in Designing and implementing network systems including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
· Maintaining documentation of network design, configuration, and procedures.
· Developing network disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
· Providing technical support to clients and internal teams as needed.
· Proficiency in various distributions such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, AIX, etc.
· Shell scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation.
· Understanding of networking protocols, IP addressing, and subnetting.
· Experience with routers, switches, VLANs, and firewalls.
· Management of DNS and DHCP servers.
· Configuration and management of Virtual Private Networks.
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS :
· Knowledge of networking in containerized environments, especially with Docker and Kubernetes.
· Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Perl for complex automation tasks.
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION : -
· Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
· Develop and implement network policies, standards, and best practices.
· Configure and manage network hardware and software, ensuring they meet organizational needs and performance benchmarks.
· Administer and maintain servers (both physical and virtual), including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
· Manage operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and related software, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.
· Implement and manage system backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.
· Design and manage cloud-based network infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
· Implement hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
· Manage cloud security, including access control, data encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
