ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the ownership and development of the Systems Definition for our retrofit autonomous systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements and industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineering, project management, applications engineering, and quality assurance, will be vital to your success.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Drive the design and development of innovative off-highway autonomous test equipment systems to production.
• Implement redundancy strategies to enhance the robustness and reliability of our systems.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define and document system requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of functionality, performance, and safety criteria.
• Collaborate with Project Management team to plan, prioritise, manage resource allocation, and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budget constraints.
• Help develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including functional, performance, and safety testing, to validate system behaviours under various conditions.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for system requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
