Description:
ActioNet has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer requiring a Public Trust clearance in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Hybrid work is available. You will play a multifaceted role and be the main Point of Contact (POC) for managing systems engineering tasks, including developing operational documents, configuration plans, validation plans, and test procedures. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in systems engineering and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure for large programs. The right candidate will work well with a team, exhibit excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated, and seek ways to improve the environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for systems engineering tasks, including systems design and integration, project management, technical analysis and problem-solving, systems monitoring, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain operational documents, configuration plans, validation plans, and test procedures.
- Ensure systems are designed and implemented to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Basic Qualifications (required):
- 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and managing and leading large multi-cloud hybrid-cloud environment
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems integration
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
