QUALIFICATIONS
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- A Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from a college or university.
- A Masters degree in any of the preceding disciplines may be substituted for one year of general experience.
- A minimum total of 5 years experience in analysis, development, evaluation, integration, in a Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) tool, preferably Siemens Teams Center or similar software.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide subject matter expertise on Digital Engineering Environments and practices to the assigned PM office and platform(s).
- Collaborate with functional areas within the PM Office (e.g., Logistics, Product Assurance, Quality, Production, Business Management) and external Government offices (e.g., PEOs, DEVCOM elements, ASA(ALT)).
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create models, simulations, and develop documentation.
- Manage design configurations and conduct system/sub-system/component integration and testing.
- Identify and resolve issues to ensure compliance with performance specifications.
- Assess system performance and recommend hardware, software, and data storage improvements.
- Deploy automated workflows for operational procedures within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
