Description:

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering and a strong background in designing and integrating complex systems. This role requires a deep understanding of systems engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Systems Engineer at Edge, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, and integration of complex systems for our innovative products, including uncrewed aircraft systems and related technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to ensure cohesive and integrated system designs.
  • Develop and manage system requirements, specifications, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct system-level design reviews, trade studies, and risk assessments to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Perform system integration, verification, and validation activities to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, working closely with engineering and production teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
