Summary
We are looking for a “Systems Engineer (f/m/d)” in the department “Laser Warning Engineering” at our site Taufkirchen at the earliest point of time.
The department is responsible for the system design and development for optical sensors for the self-protection of military platforms with the focus on the detection of lasers. The field of application of these sensors covers the range of airborne platforms, land vehicles, as well as ships. The department covers the entire live cycle of the products starting at the offer phase along with development of demonstrators/prototypes, product, and series development as well as series support and necessary adaptation developments.
Your Tasks
- Collaboration during system design, evaluation, and definition of user and system requirements
- Designing of system and subsystem components and their interfaces
- Definition of qualification tests
- Integration, start-up and test on subsystem and system level
- Creation of development, product and qualification documents
- Work based on work-packages and ensuring completion within time, quality and risk management
- Technical management of work packages and internal and external sub-contractors
- Customer support during development, integration and testing
- Participation on field tests, trials and customer demonstrations
Your Profile
- Completed studies in the field of aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, informatics or comparable
- Several years of experience in system engineering
- Experience in one of the following fields: electrical components, signal processing hard- and software, system testing and verification
- Knowledge in the field of electrical engineering is an advantage
- Experience in IBM DOORS
- High level of self-initiative
- Analytical and structured approach
- Excellent interpersonal, team work and communication skills
- English and German: negotiation level
