KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, EEE, or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with mechatronic systems (e.g., PTZ cameras, pan-tilt units, CNN machines), troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance in outdoor environments.
  • Familiarity with OS and computer software installation and device control.
  • Experience with computer and/or network hardware is an added advantage.
  • Experience with CAG/CAAS projects is highly desirable.
  • Good knowledge of backend software such as Database, network monitoring, backup, antivirus…etc
  • Ability to work onsite in outdoor environments.
  • Ability to write reports.

Responsibilities:

ROLE PROFILE

As a Mechatronics Engineer for FOD Detection Systems in Aviation, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the hardware components of our FOD detection systems. Your expertise in mechatronics will be critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop mechatronic systems for FOD detection.
  • Integrate hardware components with software systems for seamless operation.
  • Conduct hardware testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform electrical installation and maintenance, particularly in outdoor environments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our FOD detection technologies through innovation.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all hardware components and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
