SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

KMS is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful professional to support NUWCDIVNPT Code 25 Seawolf Class Non-Propulsion Platform Engineering tasking on a part time basis. This position will involve identifying technical requirements, identifying technical issues and concerns to be brought to the customers attention, and having the ability to develop potential solutions to these issues/concerns.
The incumbent should be well versed in In-Service engineering knowledge on multiple platforms including 688, 688i, Seawolf Class, VA Block I/II, VA Block III/IV/V/VI, UK Trafalgar Class, Canadian Victoria Class, and Australian Collins Class submarines and have experience with the Weapon Launch System (WLS) for new construction developments, Weapon/Payload to WLS interface (ICD/IDS) developments, and In-Service modernizations, and problem resolutions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Able to maintain an active secret security clearance.
