Systems Engineer (m/f/d) 5G/6G Navigation

Your Tasks

• Analysis and Design of Navigation and Communication systems (Phase 0, A, B)
• Analysis of customer requirements and use cases
• Derivation of system requirements
• Carry out engineering trade-offs to foster the combined use of 5G Advanced and GNSS for precise and reliable localization
• Perform architectural trade-offs in terms of performance and cost
• Installation and operation of a unified GNSS and 5G+ testbed designed to hybridize GNSS and beyond 5G positioning capabilities in real-time.
• General System Engineering Tasks
• Coordinate the specification of the system and architecture
• Define design concepts and implementation plans, assess supplier proposals in terms of their compliance to formulated requirements, cost, schedule and risks
• Write test specifications, support procedure generation & execution and evaluate test results for requirements verification

Your Qualificatons

• Master Degree in Electrical or RF Engineering with emphasis on navigation, communication, physics or mathematics
• 5G/6G signal structure knowledge,
• 3GPP standardization knowledge
• Demonstrated experience in the evaluation, analysis and design of communication chains
• Proficient in Matlab
• Proactive working style
• Good Presentation and communication skills
• Able to work in a multidisciplinary and international team
