Platinum Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer for our fast-growing company.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, software development lifecycle, and security support.
This position involves working on advanced information processing, display, and telecommunications systems used for complex analysis, interactive processing, and the display of meteorological and hydrological data.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and systems engineering principles.
• Experience with cloud-based system operations and configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in project management or systems engineering.
• Knowledge of IT security policies and best practices, including compliance with NIST guidelines.

• Document and manage necessary data configurations to support operational systems.
• Develop and maintain system configurations for proper execution of integrated data-processing platforms.
• Capture and document user requirements for operating in cloud environments.
• Provide technical expertise in data management, particularly in areas such as enterprise systems.
• Collect and document requirements for software capabilities from end-users.
• Analyze user requirements to create actionable developer tasks.
• Provide detailed technical requirements and support the development backlog.
• Review and provide feedback on design documents to ensure user needs are met.
• Support technical engagements.
