As a System Engineer, you will be pivotal in providing comprehensive systems support across servers, desktops, virtual environments, mobile devices, and networking equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring, maintaining, and diagnosing these systems, ensuring smooth operations and reliable performance. You’ll also be at the forefront of assisting end-users, leading engineering projects to drive technological advancements and managing sophisticated software suites.
In this role, you’ll be part of a globally dispersed team, requiring occasional off-hours work and some travel. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation of new systems, crafting IT protocols, and contributing to the development of our company’s Disaster Recovery Plan. Your consistent communication and dependable presence will be key to ensuring the success and resilience of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Systems support, including servers, desktops, virtualization, mobile devices, network, and peripheral hardware through proactive monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and escalation when appropriate.
- End user support, tackling a wide range of user requests and problems.
- Project engineering, supporting upgrades and new technology introductions.
- Support of complex software packages.
- Coordinates execution of new/upgraded information systems via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability.
- Works as part of team to provide input and draft IT procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency and cost containment.
- Works as part of team to provide input, draft and test company Disaster Recovery Plan.
