Description:

We are actively searching for a Systems Engineering Team Lead to guide our team during the migration of services to the OpenShift platform and work towards making our infrastructure cloud-agnostic.
The perfect candidate will oversee the team’s efforts in process automation, platform enhancement, and application support management. This position is crucial to ensuring that both internal and external customers can effortlessly access traditional desktop applications and services via the cloud.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering with a Development background
  • Effective leadership and team management capabilities
  • Proficient scripting skills in Python and PowerShell
  • Comprehensive understanding of GCP and Azure
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Skilled in Kubernetes and container technologies
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure logs
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or associated technologies

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the engineering team
  • Initiate automation and platform enhancement projects
  • Allocate tasks and oversee the team’s workload
  • Support application management
  • Manage incidents effectively
  • Produce and review analytical reports
  • Facilitate the migration of services to the OpenShift platform
  • Guarantee the infrastructure’s compatibility with multiple clouds
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements
