Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Lead Systems Engineering across the entire life-cycle. Integrate with and provide systems. engineering coaching or training to engineers from other functions.
  • Establish and maintain an appropriate information structure for the project (Customer, Business, System, Sub-System, and Component) and develop / maintain associated management plans.
  • Develop product verification strategies and compliance statements.
  • Facilitate the elicitation, maturation and validation of stakeholder requirements including customer, business, and technical to ensure robust problem and solution space understanding.

  • You will be qualified to degree level in a STEM subject and with experience in a relevant engineering environment (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical or Controls).
  • A broad understanding of Gas Turbine physical and functional characteristics would be advantageous.
  • Capable of systems-level thinking and evidence of deploying Systems Engineering techniques to solve complex problems
  • Evidence of proactive and effective collaboration across different engineering disciplines.
  • Experience using Systems Engineering tools such as IBM DOORS or Cameo Systems Modeller and knowledge of standards such as ARP4754A/ED-79
