The essential job responsibilities of the Systems Operation Compliance Analyst 4 will report to Assistant Manager. Apply specialized senior level of expertise to develop, interpret, analyze, organize and assess processes and procedures associated with compliance to North American Electric Reliability corporation (NERC) Reliability standards and federal-and state regulations as they relate to the relate to the integrity of the MLGW electric, gas and water systems; coordinate systems model data exchange with external-agencies; and serve as liaison between MLGW and external -agencies for audits on compliance of MLGW processes and procedures. Conduct and manage complex internal projects such as compliance assessments in Systems Operations, financial, information systems activities, etc. and work and service restoration procedures for process improvement. Prepare and ensure accurate reports, charts, studies, etc. for utility compliance Manager’s office in timely manners recommend corrective actions for violations using best utility and economic analyses practices; and maintain all records of pertinent studies as required by EERC, NERC, SERC, etc. for regulatory compliance and Control Room management. Assist in the preparation and presentation of NERC-Critical Infrastructure protection (CIP) training and Systems operations programs; and update the Executive staff on NERC procedural and documentation progress; perform proactive review and dissemination of relevant regulatory compliance guides, events, or industry changes. Act as MLGW Systems Operations liaison to TVA as related to FERC, NERC, and SERC reliability standards; and Department of Transportation (DOT), Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Department of Labor (DOL), etc. as needed for gas, water and employees, work hours. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for audits and assist management of electric, gas and water system restoration events and cries. Stay abreast of the latest developments of regulatory compliance standards. Operate computer, computer applications and equipment, and Division vehicle. Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform the Systems Operation Compliance Analyst 4 role, you must: -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration with 12 hours of college accredited programming/ computer related courses. -Have 6-8 years of experience in assessment of policies, / procedures, operational, financial, and information systems activities. -Must have the appropriate performance appraisal rating(s). -Must successfully complete NIMS rating within one year of entering job. -Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
Physical Working Conditions: Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular basis; and some dexterity in operating office equipment.
