SUMMARY:

Provides specialized technical support for projects within Real-time Transit Information System (RTIS) Program. Provides specialized knowledge and skills to the Expert Real-time Transit Information System (RTIS) program, projects, plans & initiatives to support and enhance the overall experience and satisfaction for TransLink customers. The specialized knowledge and skills include customer experience, service design, business, real-time transit information systems, mobile phone apps, displays and public address systems (at stations, bus stops, onboard buses, and trains), and transit operations.
Benchmarks other transit agencies and industry, performs research, and engages with vendors and service providers.
Develops and maintains procedures, standards and guidelines, tools and techniques, metrics, and measurements for consistent and successful program delivery. Liaises between the RTIS Program and other departments across the Enterprise, provides specialized knowledge assessment of progress reported by individual project managers, monitors, and quantifies risks. Assists the Project & Asset Integration Manager by developing and proposing approaches to support business and program goals.

EDUCATION:

Requires a post-secondary diploma in Customer Experience, Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Transportation, or other related discipline.

EXPERIENCE:

Requires three (3) years of experience in customer experience, project management, product development, service design, or business.
Experience with transit systems is preferred. A further period of up to six (6) months in the position is required to become familiar with TransLink’s work environment and corporate culture.
