Responsibilities:
- Guarantee all established procedures related to operations at the Data Center are followed
- Ensures complete and timely hand-off of incidents to other support teams as appropriate
- Monitors the environment and resolves issues utilizing available knowledge reference documentation.
- Monitors production schedules and ensures production jobs complete successfully without issues.
- Properly complete daily procedures related to data center operation
- Work with remote technical staff at the data centers to install and deploy hardware, cabling and systems as required
- Interact with vendors to guarantee functionality of all parts of the Data Center
- Perform Data Center hardware upgrades and maintenance as needed
- Perform semi-complex web, scripting, or other system upgrades
- Identifying problems by analyzing incident trends and frequent system failures
- Perform in depth troubleshooting of hardware and OS issues on physical and virtual servers
- Understand how company systems work so that issues can be properly communicated to users and stakeholders
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities on day-to-day operations, including the automation of manual processes
- Capable of writing technical documents for operational procedures
- Must be able to work holidays and overtime if neede
