One Mortgage System (OMS) is a Financial Technology company catering to the property financing and insurance marketplace. We provide a web application Case Management System (CRM) on a SaaS model, targeted at mortgage/loan/insurance brokers, packagers, networks, and lenders.
Our product launched in 2017 and has quickly become one of the biggest and most highly regarded CRMs in the industry and has progressively improved with further development such as new features, API integrations, and innovations.
OMS growth plans are nothing short of ambitious. Following enormous growth in the market in 2023and 2024, our plans span throughout the lender and intermediary sectors, promising to continuously disrupt the CRM and mortgage originations markets. Momentum around the OMS proposition continues to grow, and we remain committed to investing in people and technology to continue expanding the business in line with our ambitious growth expectations over the rest of 2025 and beyond.
Our offices are based in Horsham, West Sussex.
Hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
About the Role
As an experienced Systems/Technical Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our development projects are fully scoped to a high standard. You will ensure the requirements are understood and documented correctly, to allow our Developer and Quality Assurance teams to progress work accurately and efficiently.
You will perform a pivotal role from the beginning of the process and throughout, informing the business of the effort required to deliver a project, thus allowing for quotations to be given to our customers and business partners and timescales set within our roadmap.
This will require strong interpersonal and communication skills along with deep experience of modelling and requirements management planning processes. You will work closely with both the business and technical teams to ensure that solutions are delivered to specification, budget and timescales.
You will be expected to have the experience and drive to work with minimal supervision with both internal and external customers.

This role is being offered on a full-time basis and requires on-site attendance. Our offices are located close to the town centre with nearby parking and shops (Horsham, West Sussex).

Role responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the business and project teams to understand the scope of projects. * Liaising extensively with external and internal clients. * Work closely with software developers and project support teams. * Mapping and documenting project requirements. * Translating requirements into highly specified project briefs. * Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for business suitability. * Producing project feasibility and costings reports. * Working closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. * Planning and working flexibly to deadlines. * Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments. * Use data modelling practices to analyse requirements and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes * Document and communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues. * Ensure adherence and working towards departmental and project deadlines.

You will have the following experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical business analysis role ideally within a software product company. * Financial services background (Required) for example, with a Mortgage or specialist finance lender, bank or mortgage customer management system. * SQL knowledge would be an advantage as the role requires scoping of database structure within the technical requirements. * Proven track record of delivering complex analysis specifications and working with project teams to deliver successful results. * Good knowledge of project methodologies, especially Agile. * Ability to contribute to a team effort. * Logical approach to problem solving. * Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations. * Business awareness. * Methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind. * Presentation skills. * Initiative and self-confidence. * An interest in the way organisational processes work. * Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes. * Passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change. * Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach.
