Description:
Stellantis’ global product plan introduced the Systems Technical Lead role to manage project the safety process and coordinate the cross functional team activities with a goal of meeting or exceeding the launch metrics for new feature development while advocating as the Voice of the Customer. The successful candidate will work seamlessly with colleagues in Product Planning, Core Engineering, Systems Engineering, HMI, and Validation, with a focus on new feature development and delivery to meet corporate milestones.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors of Science Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering or an equivalent from an ABET accredited university
5 years of automotive experience
Good communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to communicate technical content to a non-technical audience
Strong Automotive Systems Background
Strong Background in Engineering Product Development
Work experience applying ISO 26262 – All parts
Knowledge with FMEA, FTA, HARA
Experience with Safety plan, Safety Case, Safety Management
Knowledge in Writing Safety Requirements at all Levels
Ability to interpret various regulatory requirements and Industry Best practices
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
Knowledge of IBM doors and ANSYS Medini Analyze or similar ALM/PLM management tools
Experience with embedded software development
Experience with Systems Engineering
Experience with system network topology diagrams
Background of Managing Safety plan, Assessment, Audit experience
System Safety Background
Acted as Functional Safety Manager for at least 1 project.
Able to Understand Problem from all aspects (Software, Hardware, Field)
