Sessional teaching positions are available within VU English (VUE), Victoria University’s English language centre. VUE delivers a range of English Language Programs (EAP, General English, Study Tours) to international students that are designed to help improve their language and academic skills so they can transition into a VU University course. This role reports to the Academic Manager and weekly hours will range from 8 to 20 hours depending on the centre needs.

As a Sessional Teacher within VUE for General English and English for Academic Purposes, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality education to students from a range of linguistic backgrounds
• Delivering onsite with the possibility of remote delivery if the centre requires it
• Contribute to the development of learning and assessment resources
• Monitor, evaluate and assess student English language progression and successful course completion
