SO, WHAT’S THE MISSION?

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter to join our team and become a trusted advisor on all things Talent while building strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders. You’ll have previous experience in the full recruitment life cycle and hiring great talent, including taking a brief from a hiring manager, creating job adverts, candidate attraction, social media advertising, interviewing, and onboarding.
The types of roles you’ll be recruiting for vary from Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Health and Safety to Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance and Supply Chain. We’d like you to be open-minded and flexible to support all business areas with higher vacancies. We’re one team, and we share the workload when it’s busier than usual to ensure the best candidate and manager experience.
You’ll have the opportunity to visit our manufacturing sites to build stakeholder relationships, provide hands-on training, and understand what we do. This could involve visiting one of our quarries or a state-of-the-art Manufacturing site across the UK - but don’t worry; a hard hat and safety boots will be provided!
There’s lots to do and several exciting people-related projects to get involved with. You’ll join our fast-paced and supportive team. We’re always on the go and thrive on openness, honesty, laughter, and fun.

WHAT ARE THE CRITICAL SKILLS WE NEED?

  • Experience of high-volume recruitment, managing multiple vacancies (20 vacancies+) in an in-house Talent function is essential
  • Great at creating content for social media, writing job adverts and job descriptions
  • Able to attract and source great talent without using recruitment agencies
  • Be highly organised with a beady eye for detail and able to work at pace
  • Pride yourself on providing a great experience for candidates and hiring managersConfident in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and previous experience using an ATS
