Responsibilities:

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor at Unite Students, you will play a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our operational teams. You will manage the entire recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to onboarding new hires, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

What You`ll Be Doing

  • Talent Sourcing and Attraction
  • Employer Brand Ambassador: Act as a representative of our employer brand, promoting Unite Students as an employer of choice.
  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Advertising and Talent Pool Engagement: Ensure job adverts are fresh, engaging, and effectively targeted towards our desired talent pools, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our talent attraction strategies.
  • Career Fairs and Events: Participate in career fairs and other events to attract prospective candidates and promote our organisation.
  • Recruitment Process Management
  • Candidate Screening: Support hiring managers with sifting and shortlisting for vacancies, ensuring candidates are assessed for quality, technical capability, and alignment with our brand values and behaviours.
  • Assessment and Interviews: Lead the coordination, setup, and facilitation of assessment centres and interviews, delivering a fair and engaging process for all candidates.
  • Interview Training: Act as an exemplar for interview and assessment techniques, providing training and upskilling to hiring managers to ensure informed hiring decisions.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)
  • Advocacy for DE&I: Act as an advocate for our DE&I strategy by encouraging hiring managers to challenge biases and ensure diverse shortlisting for every vacancy.
  • Performance Metrics: Support DE&I efforts by achieving and maintaining diversity metrics and performance across operations.
  • Candidate Experience
  • Offer and Rejection Coordination: Manage the offer and rejection processes, ensuring a positive experience for all candidates regardless of the outcome
  • Experience Metrics: Monitor and aim to improve candidate and hiring manager experience, using Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback as a key measure of success.
  • Data Management and Reporting
  • Recruitment Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate recruitment data and provide regular reports on key metrics, such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
  • Compliance: Ensure the recruitment process complies with all relevant legislation and adheres to our service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continually improve our processes.
  • Project Contribution: Lead and contribute to various project activities within the Talent Acquisition space to support the delivery of our long-term strategy.
