JOB DESCRIPTION
This position supports the College of Arts and Science in full cycle recruitment with an emphasis on recruit-to-hire process improvement solutions for academic, staff and student positions and is a hybrid position. As a Talent Acquisition (TA) Consultant, you will deliver outstanding customer and candidate experiences throughout the process of sourcing, recruiting and selecting talent in addition to the following:
- Understands and effectively communicates descriptions of open positions and critical requirements to candidates
- Implements creative sourcing to build diverse, qualified applicant pools
- Provides a thorough and accurate overview of the department’s mission, priorities, culture and tradition
- Maintains best practices to ensure regulatory and legal compliance
- Works on TA strategic priorities and initiatives that support both TA and the unit/hiring manager.
- Communicates effectively and works closely with our HR Partners
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years of relevant recruitment and/or human resources experience
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Experience with high volume recruiting in an academic setting
- Workday knowledge
- Familiar with MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
This is a terminal position ending in September of 2027.
