JOB DESCRIPTION

This position supports the College of Arts and Science in full cycle recruitment with an emphasis on recruit-to-hire process improvement solutions for academic, staff and student positions and is a hybrid position. As a Talent Acquisition (TA) Consultant, you will deliver outstanding customer and candidate experiences throughout the process of sourcing, recruiting and selecting talent in addition to the following:

  • Understands and effectively communicates descriptions of open positions and critical requirements to candidates
  • Implements creative sourcing to build diverse, qualified applicant pools
  • Provides a thorough and accurate overview of the department’s mission, priorities, culture and tradition
  • Maintains best practices to ensure regulatory and legal compliance
  • Works on TA strategic priorities and initiatives that support both TA and the unit/hiring manager.
  • Communicates effectively and works closely with our HR Partners

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of relevant recruitment and/or human resources experience

DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with high volume recruiting in an academic setting
  • Workday knowledge
  • Familiar with MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
    This is a terminal position ending in September of 2027.
