Description:

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • Prior experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or in a similar recruitment role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing

  • Identify candidates for both live vacancies and for talent pooling by utilising multiple sourcing strategies including ELEMIS career website, LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, job boards, social media, employee recommendations, unlocking internal and external networking and organisation mapping.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialist to draft and post job vacancies on various platforms, both internal and external, to attract qualified candidates.
  • Build effective external talent pools for your relevant functions including organising speculative meetings between prospective candidates and business/HR teams and setting up and attending industry relevant events and forums.

Screening

  • Review CV’s and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates on their application status and answering their questions throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure all appropriate candidate checks are in place, including right to work permits, notice period/availability to start and current salary and package information.

Selection

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions and extend job offers to successful candidates.

Onboarding

  • Assist in the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition into the Company.
  • To assist in conducting engaging HR Inductions for new starters across the entire company.

Talent Pipeline

  • Proactively build and maintain a pool of potential candidates for future openings through sourcing and networking efforts.
  • Support the planning and coordination of recruitment events, such as job fairs and career expos, to promote the company’s employer brand.
  • To work with wider HR team to manage career developments and succession planning.
