REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in human resources, industrial relations or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Minimum five years experience in a similar role in a company operating in a competitive market;
- Past experience in construction industry is a strong asset;
- Excellent knowledge of recruitment best practices;
- Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset;
- Solid experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Excellent command of the Google suite, social networks and recruitment platforms;
- Good knowledge of specialized computer systems for recruitment (ATS);
- Experience of working with LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networks.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Lead for BC and Ontario will support the Talent Acquisition team in this region, while managing the staffing process for a variety of positions.
- Support Talent Acquisition team within BC & Ontario regions for daily recruitment activities;
- Manage the full cycle of recruitment process for positions, including: job postings, screening resumes, selecting candidates, scheduling and conducting screening interviews, coordinating assessments and tests, drafting offer letters and processing references and background checks;
- Act as a partner for their client group and be responsible for the entire recruitment process of professional and managerial staff in support of BC office operations;
- Participate in the creation and implementation of innovative strategies to recruit and retain top talent in line with the company’s development and expansion strategy;
- Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates (social networks, corporate events, career days, networking days) and promote the employer brand to our future talent;
- Participate in the development and deployment of various talent acquisition strategies to maximize results in the various recruitment processes (headhunting, visibility, social media, partnerships, international hiring, all other relevant strategies);
- Source within various media (recruitment platform, LinkedIn, professional organizations and specialized sites) to improve the visibility of job postings and facilitate staffing;
- Administer, sort and classify online resumes, follow up and maintain candidate flow using the applicant tracking system (Zoho Recruit);
- Participate in recruitment, job and other events to promote the company in its market;
- Participate in training and continuous development of talent acquisition professionals within the region;
- Act as a partner for deploying the corporate culture;
- Ensure constant collaboration with the team of human resources business partners;
- Ensure compliance of our practices with provincial laws and regulations;
- Act as a resource for maintaining competitive compensation in BC & Ontario market;
- Be part of a team where everyone contributes to regular administrative requirements;
- Carry out other tasks or mandates at the request of the immediate superior.
