SO, WHAT’S THE STORY?

Due to a recent internal progression within the team we’re looking for an experienced recruiter who loves & knows retail to come on board and partner with our retail leadership & store teams from a Talent Acquisition perspective. If you’re successful you will report into the Senior TA Lead within the wider EMEA HR team (20).

Responsibilities:

AS OUR TA LEAD, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Business partnering with hiring managers to ensure a strong talent plan is developed, aligning and collaborating with EMEA HR Leadership on people plans.
  • Direct sourcing and headhunting; manage recruitment costs and build strong candidate relationships.
  • Talent pooling; as a functional expert develop an excellent bench of diverse talent for future growth both internally and externally.
  • Providing support and mentorship to the Recruitment Champions in your regions, helping them continue to support you & thrive in their stretch opportunity.
  • Supporting the Snr TA Lead for Retail and EMEA HR Leadership on projects and processes to constantly improve what we do, including regular reporting of performance.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices to optimise the recruitment workflow and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Reviewing and measuring our successes to ensure we achieve our own recruitment KPIs and continuous improvement to support our EDI efforts.
  • Continuing the development and management of partnerships with external partners to drive awareness and improvement of our Employer Branding.

PUT SIMPLY, FOR THIS ROLE THE KEY THINGS WE’RE LOOKING FOR ARE:

  • You’ll have proven in-house recruitment experience within a matrix business structure, specifically working with retail and be proficient in independently managing responsibilities as a TA professional.
  • A deep interest in the retail space with a passion for supporting our efforts on developing career paths for our colleagues and hiring diverse talent to DM’s.
  • Possess great coaching skills, with the ability to support, develop and challenge managers thinking.
  • You are up to date with all current recruitment methods and processes with expertise using social media tools including LinkedIn to generate talent pools.
  • A relationship builder with the credibility to take the lead and challenge or influence people’s thinking.
  • Bring your passion for leadership and mentorship to the role, infusing the team with your enthusiasm for talent acquisition and showing up as a brand ambassador.
  • Well-organised with strong time management & prioritisation skills.

The role of TA lead within our retail populations can be loosely categorised into 3 focus areas;

  • Store Management Recruitment – Lead end-to-end recruitment for any vacancies in existing stores.
  • New Store Recruitment – Own the recruitment process, enabling our retail expansion
  • Store Enablement – Empower store management teams to recruit their own teams
