Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a vital role in sourcing and attracting top talent to drive Sagard towards its vision and objectives. Your responsibilities will include establishing purposeful talent acquisition practices, building talent pipelines, and forging partnerships with key stakeholders throughout the organization. Additionally, you will lead initiatives such as enhancing the Onboarding Experience, managing the Internship Program, and strengthening Employer Branding efforts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or Industrial Relations, with at least 5 years of talent acquisition/recruitment experience or equivalent HR experience in a fast-growing environment.
  • Recruitment Expertise: Demonstrated experience in the full recruitment cycle and good general knowledge of human resources and labor laws, with a strong focus on the Canadian job market.
  • Language Skills and Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English (bilingualism required), with a focus on influencing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using social media platforms like LinkedIn and HRIS tools.
  • Personal Attributes: Enjoyment of collaborative teamwork, passion for talent acquisition, branding, and networking, with a long-term vision and a future-oriented perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a high-performance environment and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract, retain, develop, and motivate teams while promoting inclusivity.
  • Streamline recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, testing, references, job offers, and onboarding, identifying and implementing enhancements for candidate and stakeholder experiences, including tools and career website optimizations.
  • Collaborate with people leaders and partners to develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with Sagard’s values and culture. Utilize recruitment analytics to provide valuable data and advice, maintaining a proactive approach to efficiently address recruitment needs.
  • Establish and sustain strategic alliances within key sourcing channels inclusive of campus, outreach programs and staffing vendors to source qualified talent.
  • Lead various projects like the internship program at Sagard, collaborating with the Communication and Marketing team to promote the employer brand and enhance the employee value proposition through innovative solutions.
  • Work with the People & Culture team on onboarding, psychological testing, referral programs, and stay updated on market innovations to support various P&C projects and analytics.
