Description:
Great opportunity for an experienced recruiting manager based in Halifax! We’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager for our Atlantic Business Unit, who will be a strategic partner collaborating with business leaders to design and implement attraction strategies tied to their needs and that enhance the candidate-experience.
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be leading the effective delivery of a recruitment service for the Atlantic Provinces in which CGI operates, and integrate the wider Canadian TA team. Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of recruiters/senior recruiters responsible for the delivery of all recruitment services, and focussed on experienced hire recruitment
- Help the team maximize the number of direct hires by identifying and utilizing appropriate sourcing channels to fulfill recruitment requirements
- Establish a career plan and extend your team’s competences based on their personal aspirations and the business opportunities
- Be an active participant in the enhancement of tools, techniques, process & procedures for the Business Unit and the wider Canadian TA team
- Build trusted advisor relationships with business leaders, managing key relationships working with the Talent Acquisition Director to support the business on current and future projects, bids and priorities.
- Understand the Business Unit’s workforce planning, by volume, skill and by quarter to support business aspirations. Act as an advisor, informing and influencing the business with market information and competitor analysis.
- Ensure a positive candidate-experience throughout the process and act as a CGI ambassador.
- Understand the company’s value proposition and strategy, distinguish among opinions, activity and results measure.
- Research and implement innovative strategies and tools to help identify and attract world class talent and drive continuous process improvements.
- Develop and provide Business Unit leaders with analysis of recruitment activities in such areas as recruiting effectiveness, recruiting costs, and quality of hire metrics
- Help build brand awareness to promote CGI as an employer of choice, including effective sourcing and branding strategies
- Organize and lead recruitment campaigns (member referrals, etc.)
- Provide coaching and guidance on recruitment activities to hiring leaders
- Lead HR projects to successful completion on time, on budget, and with sufficient quality
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent degree and/or HR related certifications
- Demonstrable experience in a recruitment team, managing and leading a successful recruitment team
- Experience working in an IT service and/or related professional services organization
- Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment, with the proven ability to manage a workload with competing priorities
- Experience of managing a team, coaching & ensuring their continuing professional development
- Knowledge of Country/IT/Business market essential
- Experience utilizing social media/sourcing tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Facebook, Twitter and identifying passive, top tier candidates using networking and social media
- Experience of Technical and Competency based interviewing
- Results driven and able to work independently and as part of a team
