Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Identify and land areas of opportunity across the full recruitment cycle where improvements can be implemented to drive efficiencies such as time saved, reduced cost etc.
Identify, own, and deliver project work that adds real value to both Talent Acquisition / HR and across the business – e.g., Refer A Friend, systems related projects that contribute to the People at the Core element of the strategy, MI and demographic data capture and reporting etc.
Deputise for Head of Recruitment at certain set pieces and as required to increase experience and exposure.
Partner with Heads of HR and Heads of function / functional Directors on role design and workforce planning.
Consult with hiring managers and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment cycle to provide insightful updates, support and education on fair selection, facilitate candidate debrief discussions and drive to a successful outcome.
Build and maintain a network of potential internal candidates through working with the Talent, Development and Inclusion team to gather insight around succession plans and colleague career aspirations.
Ensure the team are gathering, inputting and maintaining candidate and recruitment data guaranteeing the integrity of our Applicant Tracking System, capturing key demographic and diversity metrics which provide accurate insight for management information reports.
Provide support, coaching and direction to immediate and wider team to ensure colleagues perform to expected levels, and clear guidance is given on ways of working to build capability and performance within the team.
Respond appropriately to hiring manager requests, external sources such as talent acquisition agencies and potential candidates

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a similar position (internal or agency) requiring extensive recruitment and selection in a complex business environment
- Experience in developing and implementing diverse sourcing strategies and campaigns
- Experience in senior search and selection
- Experience of leading and developing a team
- Extensive experience in building talent pools through sophisticated sourcing activities
- Track record of identifying, developing, and launching improvement projects within the Talent Acquisition space
- Advanced search and social media capability
- Ability to effectively influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively, effectively, and competently with people at all levels in the organisation
- Highly interpersonal with a natural inquisitive nature
- Highly analytical and capable to identify opportunities and risks through data
- Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly in order to meet deadlines and have the drive to deliver results
Responsibilities:
In partnership with the business area, lead a team in the creation of a robust succession talent pool and successful identification, selection, and recruitment of high calibre and diverse future talent, to enable the development of the recruitment strategy.
