Description:

Summary

The objectives of the position are to:

  • Lead a team of Senior Talent Acquisition Advisors across HK & SG and the point of contact for off-shore countries
  • In line with the strategic business direction of each division, partner with hiring managers to build their teams
  • Build a strong employer brand for Lidl & Kaufland across the Asia footprint
  • Increase the percentage of direct hires recruited into Lidl & Kaufland whilst maintaining a positive candidate/hiring manager experience
  • Maintain recruitment processes through regular optimising of our recruitment tools and be-ing an ambassador of our brand

What you’ll do

  • Effectively recruit high calibre and talented colleagues into our business
  • Develop effective recruiting strategies to find the best ways of sourcing talent to meet our business needs
  • Work alongside Hiring Managers to understand their recruitment needs and to com-municate this effectively to candidates through inspirational and effective advertise-ments
  • Use market knowledge to advise Hiring Managers on potential bottlenecks and devel-op a strategy to influence the candidates’ decision to join
  • Continuously review the assessment process and proactively realign with Hiring Man-agers when faced with bottlenecks
  • Proactively market map, and use this knowledge to develop and tailor effective pipe-line strategies
  • Maximise all opportunities for direct and other cost-effective hiring
  • Partner with L&D to manage the internship and graduate trainee programme end-to-end

Employer Brand

  • Develop and execute on a strong employer branding strategy to raise the awareness and attractiveness of Lidl & Kaufland Asia’s brand and opportunities
  • Develop strategic partnerships with institutes of higher learning
  • Revamp Lidl & Kaufland Asia’s external careers webpage in collaboration with the Communications team
  • Improve employer branding through monitoring candidate experience and maintain our social media channels
  • Involvement in projects, including our summer graduate recruitment program, yearly update of JD’s and recruitment process and sharing best practice with offices in Asia

Team Management

  • Develop and grow a small team of recruiters to provide guidance on day-to-day re-cruitment activities and stakeholder engagement
  • Manage the yearly financial budget for the Talent Acquisition team
  • Responsible for monthly reporting and driving recruitment KPIs

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle Recruiting
  • Experience in management of early careers programmes
  • People management experience
  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication
  • Driven and passionate with ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Proactive, motivated with excellent judgement and great people skills
  • Be able to develop rapport with all levels of stakeholders
  • Highly organised with detail minded and confident using Microsoft Excel
