The Silver X Group is a well-established logistics company, formed in 2013 and currently operates over 3 locations, 130,000ft2 of warehousing space, and has an operators licence for 120 HGV vehicles across two companies. Due to Continued growth, The Silver X Group is now recruiting an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to work in our busy Head Office in Alfreton.
At Silver X Group, were always looking to strengthen the organisation by adding the best available people to our team. Were seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to help develop and manage a robust recruitment process to support our growing business, identifying and developing both external and internal talent.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, two or three years of experience in talent acquisition across a range of roles, from volume recruitment of drivers to senior members of our leadership team. A proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants is vital, along with excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and providing guidance in respect of the selection process, ensuring the promotion of good practice and compliance with relevant legislation
  • Work with the current talent within the business to identify and upskill were appropriate
  • Use a variety of methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including LinkedIn, CV databases, social media platforms, networking events and job fairs to build a talent pool to meet the future needs of the business.
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions/assessments that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders

You

  • Minimum two years of experience in a talent acquisition role with a demonstrable track record of success
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Experience of Applicant Tracking Systems (Access People HR would be advantageous)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
