Description:
EDUCATION
- Relevant university degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years in a Recruitment role
- Experience in manufacturing and a unionized environment is an asset

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Develop recruiting processes that deliver a positive and engaging experience that reflects Winpak’s values and attracts the quality and quality of candidates needed.
- Work with the CHRO and HR Council to develop Winpak’s talent strategy and priorities.
- Deliver employer branding to elevate Winpak’s profile in the talent markets including managing all talent acquisition related social media and web sites.
- Collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners and Business Leaders to develop a comprehensive workforce plan that considers business objectives, anticipates talent movements, risks and opportunities and guides effective talent acquisition team activities and resources.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment for all positions, from job profiling and sourcing to offer negotiation.
- Track recruitment metrics and analyze data to provide insights and continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
- Ensure Winpak’s talent acquisition processes deliver on our value of diversity inclusiveness and respect, facilitating an environment where everyone can fully participate and succeed and is safe and free from discrimination.
- Executes leadership searches, and through the Talent Acquisition shared service team, manage all Winpak’s recruiting activities
- Manage and mentor a team of recruiters in Canada and the U.S, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Mines the recruiting process for competitive market data.
- Manage external vendor relationships and performance.
- Ensures compliance with relevant jurisdictional employment laws.
- Leads companywide projects and initiatives.
- Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the Winpak Values.
- Interact with all levels of the operation in support of Winpak’s ongoing registration to ISO 9001-2015, SQF Code, IMS certification, Total Quality Improvement programs and internal standards for operations and quality.
