Job Description
We currently have a great opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our in-house team on a 6 month FTC (maternity cover). We offer hybrid working and can either be based in the Birmingham region or Slough area, where we have office locations. This is a hands-on role, executing all aspects of the recruitment process. Working in a fast paced environment, you will be responsible for the full end to end recruitment cycle, working with various teams and hiring for roles including but not limited to; Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Finance, Marketing and Commercial Services.
We are looking for a highly efficient individual that can deliver results by sourcing the best candidates nationally and internationally to ensure that we have the most talented individuals as part of our business.

Duties and Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle for all assigned requisitions from attraction, screening, selection through to hire plus keep in touch activity during notice period
  • Write and post professional job adverts
  • Source candidates via various methods (participating in events, organising career days, using databases or social media)
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyse applicants’ abilities
  • Manage all channels to the active candidate market including employee referral, e-sourcing, on and off line advertising and agencies
  • Coordinate with managers and candidates in order to schedule interviews including making room bookings and sending accurate confirmations
  • Support hiring events in terms of planning and coordination
  • Support employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives
  • Ensure quality of recruiting data is maintained to the highest possible standard with our Applicant tracking system

The Individual

What you’ll definitely need:

  • With exceptional communication skills and the ability to positively influence at all levels of an organization up to senior levels, you will develop valued relationships with managers, stakeholders and candidates alike.
  • You must have 3+ years of recruitment experience in a fast-paced tech environment and must have built your skills as a recruiter, ideally in an in-house startup setting.
  • Experience of identifying both passive and active candidates across a variety of attraction channels is essential and as a talent generalist, you must enjoy hiring for a variety of different roles across business teams.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and the impact this has on both teams and culture is a prerequisite.
  • Consistency and accuracy, strong organisational and time-management skills are without doubt essential to ensure the success of this role and that key deliverables are met.
