Description:

SALARY: $70,000 - $75,000

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner, who will be responsible for high volume recruitment, hiring for specific client groups and/or job families within Catholic Charities of Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have a strong sourcing and recruiting background, excellent customer service experience and a strong collaboration skill. The core responsibilities include posting, sourcing, recruiting, screening, and offering positions to selected candidates. The hybrid work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (3 days in the office / 2 days at home).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred or a related field and one year of related experience, or an AA Degree and 3 years of related experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking system experience and demonstrated proficiency in using technology tools to enhance the candidate and manager experience as well as to enable accurate and timely recruitment records maintenance.
  • Ability to transport oneself to multiple locations within the Catholic Charities Programs during the workday for meetings, interviews, and other commitments.

  • Must posses’ current knowledge related to all hiring practices and maintain knowledge of hiring practices to ensure compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service-related listening skills.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and objectively to all levels of the organization relative to hiring activities, while working independently.
  • Must demonstrate sensitivity to the client population served to include clients that are being served to transition back into the mainstream workforce.
  • This is a highly visible position requiring sensitivity, good judgment, tact and discretion in the performance of duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving the recruitment process which includes cloning draft requisitions, ensuring all information is accurate, sourcing and screening applicants, conducting interviews and referring qualified candidates to hiring manager and offering positions to the selected candidates, all while promoting the Catholic Charities Mission.
  • Proactively network to source and qualify candidates through relevant social media outlets, referrals, and niche groups.
  • Developing strong candidate relationships by understanding the Hiring Manager needs and ideal divisional candidate attributes, to determine a mutual fit.
  • Collaborating with the HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the selection process.
  • Building and maintaining a robust network of candidates through effective screening process and maintaining communication with viable candidates for future roles.
  • Representing Catholic Charities of Baltimore, as requested, at job fairs, universities and educational venues, alternative placement organizations, and other external agencies.
  • Coordinating salary review/approval, suggestions, and discussions, as needed and ensuring that the salary is approved prior to starting to recruitment process.
  • Offering positions to candidates following Hiring Managers’ final selection and preparing the formal offer letter to candidates.
  • Coordinating scheduling of first-day orientation for all newly hired employees, ensuring that offer letter and appropriate paperwork is received and reviewed for completion and accuracy.
