QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology or a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in a talent acquisition role, preferably with a focus on clinical healthcare positions (e.g., Physicians, Dentists, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare Administrators).
- CHRL/CHRP completed or in progress.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer focused, results orientated approach.
- Persuading and influencing skills, with a strong ability to manage expectations.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Experience in delivering full life cycle recruitment services in an in-house environment or similar.
- Experience of planning and leading complex recruitment campaigns for hard to fill skills sets using a range of methods and tools attraction channels.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 5-7 years of previous healthcare recruitment experience and will be responsible for playing a key role in leading various recruitment initiatives, building talent pipelines, establishing industry partnerships, and of course sourcing and attracting top healthcare talent to meet the staffing needs of our clinics. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for recruitment, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and execute full-cycle recruitment plans in close collaboration with hiring managers for both clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions. This includes, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with candidates and local talent communities to ensure we have access to the best talent, now and for the future.
- Manage the end-to-end candidate journey, ensuring a seamless, professional, and positive experience for all candidates from initial contact through to onboarding.
- Identify and engage passive and exceptional candidates through innovative sourcing and networking strategies and tools. Utilizing a variety of sourcing strategies such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and industry networking events.
- Engage in recruitment events and job fairs, as needed, to proactively attract top talent and promote our clinics as an employer of choice within the healthcare sector.
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
- Keep informed on industry trends, emerging technology and talent landscapes in the healthcare space.
- Facilitate projects and initiatives that improve and scale recruiting processes and outcomes.
- Promote HealthOne’s employer brand and enhance awareness of our mission, vision and values.
- Partner with the HR team and hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions and define position requirements that reflect the unique needs of our multi-disciplinary clinic.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment standards, Ontario Human Rights, Privacy, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
