As our new Talent Acquisition Partner you will be joining our truly diverse global Talent Acquisition team with colleagues all across the world, from Europe to Americas, China to Kuwait, Australia, etc. You can look forward to working with a diverse group of ambitious and talented people from many different backgrounds, giving you a unique global network.
You will play a key role in delivering Hempel’s ambitious target of doubling the company’s revenue by 2025. To support this goal, we are in the process of developing a world-class Talent Acquisition function, delivering operational excellence in the end-to-end recruitment processes and strategic talent pipelining to meet future demand.
In this role you will act as a talent attraction expert and be responsible for the successful, end-to-end management of the entire recruitment cycle from strategic planning with business leaders to attraction/search methodology and candidate journey. You will be based in our office in Gdansk, Poland however you will be mainly managing recruitments for our offices in Western/Central Europe locations including Germany, Netherlands etc. whilst also supporting in other locations in Europe as needed. You will support different business areas and at all levels of seniority, including Sales & Marketing, R&D, IT/Digital, Customer Care and more.
This is what you can look forward to

As our new TA Partner you will be accountable for driving both proactive and reactive talent acquisition strategy for your key business portfolios, including:

  • Acting as a trusted consultant to hiring managers and business partners regarding talent acquisition strategies, using your expertise, data analytics and market insights to guide direction and approach
  • Planning and managing end to end recruitments for your location including talent attraction and sourcing.
  • Partnering with local People Partners to plan for future demand, in line with strategic workforce planning, Carrying out the necessary talent pipelining methods to drive Hempel’s growth agenda
  • Being a key player in our current TA transformation journey, using your experience and insights to help drive a varied range of project activity in support of our growth towards a world-class talent acquisition model
  • Carrying out employer branding and marketing activities (with a focus on social media) to create awareness and interest in careers at Hempel
  • Adapting and implementing global Employer/Talent Value Propositions locally
  • Acting as key custodian for candidate experience and as an ambassador for Hempel externally
  • Conducting interviews and assessments as part of the candidate selection process
  • Utilising data analytics, insights and reporting to inform TA strategies and also to drive continuous improvement in our ways of working
  • Be an ambassador of our Global Recruitment process and ensure process compliance

What do you need to be successful in this role?
The ideal candidate has a passion for delivering a good candidate and hiring manager experience and you should have a proven track record of attracting and selecting the right candidates, in consideration of the needs of the business. In the TA team, we will play a key role in ensuring a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce, so you should share our passion and ambitions in this respect.

Furthermore we expect:

  • You are a professional with solid full cycle and high volume experience recruiting across levels.
  • Recruiting experience in Western/Central European locations will be an advantage
  • 5+ Years of experience of operating in TA Partner role, ideally within a multinational organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing diverse candidates through development of a strong sourcing strategy
  • Strong consultant profile based on business insight and the ability to translate business needs to candidate profiles and TA strategies
  • Strong executor with high sense of urgency and focus on delivering value to line of business
  • Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in English.
  • German Language proficiency will also be a key consideration for this role as you will manage significant recruitments in this location
  • Strong and proven stakeholder management skills

Join our Talent Acquisition Team
You will be based in Gdansk, Poland but will join a truly global team. We operate a hybrid working model, enabling individuals to strike a sustainable and personalised balance between time spent at home versus the office.
We’ll focus on your development, both within the TA role itself and also with a lens on your longer term career aspirations towards next-role opportunities in Hempel.
