JOB DESCRIPTION

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead all recruitment initiatives for the respective functions(s) within the Research and Development organization as well as implement innovative solutions to solve complex recruiting challenges.
- Integrate employer branding strategies leveraging enterprise-wide programs, process and technologies for functions within Research and Development.
- Engage with HRBL’s and senior leadership teams to develop and drive talent attraction strategies that support the future vision of the organization.
- Lead strategy conversations with hiring managers and develop strategic sourcing plans that are tailored to specific hiring needs.
- Execute consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring best practices and processes that support a highly positive candidate experience and recruiter/hiring manager efficiencies.
- Identify sourcing priorities and opportunities leveraging existing and new technologies for candidate pipelines and candidate management.
- Develop and manage talent pipelines with passive candidates using social media to ensure recruitment effectiveness for the organization and reduce dependency on external vendors.
- Collaborate and consult with hiring leaders and HRBL’s to accurately assess the effectiveness of current and previous recruitment strategies and be able to create and implement creative solutions for challenges.
- Utilize Workday efficiently and ensure compliance with all required government regulations and reporting related to Takeda’s hiring activities.
- Participates in Research & Development TA programs and project as a talent advisor.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a Talent Acquisition role required. Supervisory experience desired.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or related industry is preferred.
- Analyze recruiting metrics (PowerBI) to accurately assess the effectiveness of current and previous recruiting plans; design creative strategies based on outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically plan and execute large-scale initiatives across the respective Research and Development function(s).
- Strong communicator; verbal and written.
- Exceptional partnering and influencing skills.
- Experience in working in a global organization, across functions and in different cultures with a high level of complexity.
- Strong team player with a demonstrated solution-oriented, “can-do” attitude.
