Currently, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner who will be responsible for the sourcing, identification and recruitment of qualified candidates that match our strategic and operational business needs as well as manage our recruitment social media campaigns on a global basis.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner representing The Economist Group, you will pro-actively support our recruitment efforts in a cost-effective and efficient manner identifying world-class, diverse talent to drive our business results. As part of a global team of recruiters, the Talent Acquisition Manager will support the continued development of innovative, creative and proactive recruitment strategies, including the design and implementation of our talent acquisition social media initiatives.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Support recruitment processes including needs analysis, requisition creation and job postings, pre-employment processes and reporting on a timely basis
  • Follow through on all resumes and applications to ensure proper correspondence is sent to applicants
  • Ensure diverse candidate slates are presented to hiring managers as well as proper candidate qualification decisions are made
  • Create exposure to The Economist employer brand by identifying opportunities to host meet ups, speakers at events, career fairs etc.
  • Help develop and implement key recruitment strategies for internal and external candidate identification
  • Proactively pipeline, recruit, and retain world-class diverse talent to drive business results
  • Ensure that all interview and applicant screening processes are consist at all levels and across all businesses
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and/or HR Managers in developing job descriptions, ensuring an understanding of the job responsibilities and position requirements
  • Identify candidate identification innovation opportunities that will enhance the ability to attract qualified and diverse candidates
  • Demonstrate focus and discipline in delivering the staffing process to ensure process and delivery excellence
  • Ensure that all selection decisions are made in accordance with company policies

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in full life-cycle recruitment and staffing with a demonstrated ability to identify and deliver qualified candidates
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the areas of talent identification and attraction, strategic sourcing, assessment and selection
  • Strong project management and facilitation skills; experience managing multiple projects, engaging stakeholders, driving accountability and meeting deliverables in a timely manner
  • A consultative and collaborative style with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across the organization
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and presentation abilities with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals both internal and external to the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility, lead by influence, coupled with the ability to recognize and support the organization’s priorities
  • Strong business acumen as well as a demonstrated ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • A global perspective and sensitivity to international recruiting practices as well as culturally aware and able to operate effectively across multiple geographic boundaries
