Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Abbott is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The position works out for our offices located in Las Condes.
As the TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless Hiring Manager and Candidate experience across multiple countries (Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia), business Divisions (Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Diagnostics and Nutrition) and Functions (such as Operations, Quality, R&D, Sales).
You will manage the full-cycle recruiting efforts for individual contributors and managerial positions across South Region, while collaborating with TA colleagues in several countries.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or equivalent.
- Fluent English language skills are required.
- Strong track record of sourcing via tools and networks.
- Strong assessment skills to assess candidate’s business capabilities, technical background and key behaviors.
- Strong skills in driving and owning the TA process ensuring candidate and client management satisfaction.
- Ideally a combination of agency and in house recruitment experience.
- Professional, accountable, high energy and collaborative team player
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure and changing environment.
- Competitive drive, strong work ethic. Motivation to learn, grow and succeed.
- Ability to build professional relations across all levels of the business, including business acumen with Senior Executives.
Responsibilities:
- Developing a complete understanding of each client business objectives and strategy.
- Consulting with hiring managers and Business HR to understand skill requirements, background and experience needed for each requisition.
- Working with hiring managers to develop a comprehensive recruitment strategy for each requirement, setting and manages expectations.
- Identifying and execute appropriate sourcing practices to attract suitable candidates, in addition to fully utilizing all internal Abbott resources.
- Sourcing, screening and managing candidates throughout the process providing feedback at all stages.
- Ensuring structured/competency based interview process is followed for each hiring requirement, running assessment centers when required.
- Salary negotiation and management of offer process ensuring contract issued in line with company procedure.
- Creating effective relationships with new and existing recruitment agencies, ensuring fixed terms and conditions are in place.
- Reporting and presenting data to provide strategic market insights and market research.
- Where necessary, preparation of recruitment budget for each business comprising media strategy, referrals, recruitment agencies, recruitment fairs, websites, recruitment merchandising, social media, direct sourcing, etc.
- Be part of regional workstreams, oriented to projects related to Early Careers, Diversity and Inclusion, People & Culture, Social and Branding. We strive to provide a fast and high-quality service to our internal customers and provide a great candidate experience.
